Abstractions

Abstractions follows me just idly traversing through the terrains and environments that informed the music on my record of the same title.

Shot and edited over a few weeks, photographer and filmmaker, Jeremy Pelser, captures the unique beauty in still and chaotic spaces, much like the music itself. Although I don’t think we knew it at the time, in retrospect, this was an innocent look into the relationship I had formed with the warmness and comfort of nature, and the coldness of the city it surrounded. I had found myself in between these two worlds, with no clear picture of what it meant to me, spiritually. They only appeared in abstractions.
