It Takes Time - Bahbahroo

Cape Town-based musician Bahbahroo debuts on the Lilies label with a short, alt rock double-single It Takes Time – songs that touch on notions of time, relationships, trying over and over again, and finding a sense of freedom within it all. 

on It Takes Time, Bah Bah takes us on two short trips soundtracked by guitar riffs and loops that playfully walk between being truly off-kilter and surprisingly catchy. as a nod to his bedroom-rock and alternative influences – his lyrics centre the do-it-yourself, building from the ground up ethos that makes up those sounds and asks: “how long will take to get what’s mine?”.

Almost-assuredly he reminds us: “I guess it takes time.”
